Job Description

The Senior Financial Compliance Analyst --to be based in Tempe, AZ -- will: ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) over financial reporting and related Corporate Accounting Policies; coordinate internal and external audits; develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures and narratives; coordinate with Compliance regarding financial aspects of Corporate compliance activities; leading tax compliance activities; and perform transparency reporting tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) over financial reporting and related Corporate Accounting policies.
  • Establish and monitor audit procedures to ensure the internal control environment is designed and operating effectively, and recommend enhancements to controls, policies, and procedures to management.
  • Manage financial audits with Corporate Internal Audit and external auditors. This includes managing internal resources and deliverables, drafting responses to represent management's position on recommendations, and ensuring follow-up activities are implemented by agreed upon timelines.
  • Coordinate with Compliance regarding financial aspects of Corporate compliance activities.
  • Serve as primary contact for all tax compliance activities, including coordination with the Corporate Tax group.
  • Prepare transparency reporting tasks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform internal audits as directed.
  • Other duties, such as projects, may be assigned.


  • B.B.A. or B.S. in business with an emphasis in accounting or related curriculum.
  • 2-5 years of accounting or related experience required.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Ability to interact with and influence others to drive change.
  • Performance driven.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks.
  • High standard of integrity and accuracy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
