What you will do

As a Senior Engineer you will apply engineering and statistical tools to analyze and monitor product performance once introduced to the market. Lead investigation activities to identify potential safety signals or opportunities for product quality improvements.

What you need

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Statistics or related Advanced Degree
  • 3+ years of engineering or statistical experience in the medical device industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Risk Management per ISO 14971:2012 to classify post market data and trend against established thresholds
  • Apply knowledge of statistical tools such as regression analysis, DOE and control charts to monitor product performance and identify potential safety signals or product performance improvements
  • Proficient in statistical software such as Microsoft Excel, Mini-Tab and Power BI to efficiently analyze post market data
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience conducting root cause analysis and failure investigation. Ability to review data and identify sources of safety signals.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to clearly present key findings of trend analyses to leadership and/or regulatory agencies
  • Ability to work independently, establish priorities and achieve commitment dates
  • Identify process efficiencies, implement changes and influence colleagues across the organization.
