We are currently seeking a Senior Employee Relations Analyst to join our Corporate team to be located in Kalamazoo, MI.

What you will do

As the Senior Employee Relations Analyst, you will serve as a member of the Employee Relations team and is viewed as an inter-divisional subject matter expert (SME) that provides support to Employee Relations team and directly or indirectly to multiple divisions/business units across the organization.   

  • ​​​​Work with the Employee Relations and Compliance teams.
  • ​Develop and maintains the processes for the Ethics Hotline process for work environment matters 
  • ​Conduct the day-to-day administration of Stryker’s Ethics Hotline reporting system for work environment matters;  
  • ​Publish Ethics Hotline reports providing timely data analysis on trending issues within different divisions, groups, geographic regions or other criteria;
  • ​Assist in maintaining the integrity of data within the Ethics Hotline; and  
  • ​Ensure that employees and other identified parties use the Ethics Hotline in accordance with the Ethics Hotline processes and procedures. 
  • ​Provide training to multinational audiences on the Ethics Hotline functionality, evaluates training needs related to Employee Relations, and monitors and escalates training needs. 
  • ​Responsible for on-going monitoring of the Ethics Hotline system and related processes for work environment matters and reporting on the effectiveness of these to HR leadership teams. 
  • Responsible for identifying system or process improvements that increase efficiency and compliance or reduce costs.  
  • ​Provide recommendations on improvements in the Ethics Hotline with the compliance team and HR leadership and develops and executes plans to implement recommendations in conjunction with compliance.   
  • ​Act as point of contact for HR team regarding issues with Ethics hotline, including improvements, data issues, troubleshooting, etc. 
  • ​Interact with and communicate regularly with the Employee Relations and compliance teams to ensure effective management of the Ethics Hotline system, initiatives, and policies and procedures. 
  • ​Develop proficiency in data analytics tools to analyze and report on data insight and trends.
  • Support investigations, serving as the second chair during interviews and collaborating on the process (10% of role)

What you need

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A.) from an accredited university required; with a focus in Business, Human Resources or related field preferred. ​ 
  • ​​A minimum of 3 years of professional experience required.   
  • ​Demonstrates developing experience in customer relations and building strong and influential relationships at all levels within an organization; problem solving and proactive service orientation. 
  • ​Excellent analytical skills and the ability to package information in clear, concise executive level ready format. 
  • ​Prior experience with analyzing data/trends in systems preferred. 
  • ​Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills. 
  • ​Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a rapidly changing regulatory and business environment. 
  • ​Able to demonstrate discretion and maintain confidentiality​.
