Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Work closely with leadership team to grow the business by formulating appropriate financial strategies and plans.
  • Close involvement in analysis of new product development and business development base case financial models.
  • Review of financial results and investigation of budget variances then setting recovery plans.
  • Lead and develop finance team.
  • Lead and manage the annual budgeting and monthly financial projection process for the specific business functions supported.
  • Prepares and interprets operating results as they affect the financial aspects of the progress to financial goals and objectives. 
  • Will implement accounting guidelines and ensure all Company policies are adhered to within the business unit.  .
  • Sets overall departmental goals and priorities and evaluates Team’s performance based on those goals and priorities.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent.
  • 10+ years related experience and/or training (overall).
  • Working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret economic conditions and anticipate the impact on the organization.
  • Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. 
  • Proven leadership and business acumen skills
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in major general ledger packages, Excel, Word and Access.
  • Ability to accurately complete detailed financial reports, calculate figures and amounts, and analyze statistical and financial data.
