What You Will Do:

Product Engineers owns the design of Stryker’s products once they are on the market.  They improve the product design to maintain or improve customer experience, quality, reliability, manufacturability, cost, and regulatory compliance.

  • Will determine and ensure the use of specific design approaches and parameters and conduct feasibility studies on new designs.
  • Will analyze equipment to establish operating data, ensure experimental tests are conducted and evaluate the results.
  • Will select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability and regulatory requirements.
  • Will aid in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, have manufacturability and are reliable.
  • Will assist in evaluating vendor capability to support development.

What You Need:

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and have the ability to understand geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Demonstrated experience with Creo or other CAD system.
  • Demonstrated technical design and problem solving skills.

Work From Home: Occasional

Travel Percentage: 10%
