This position supports our Mobius product line, the Airo® TruCT is a visionary product. It boasts the largest inner bore of any 32 slice CT imaging platform currently available for intraoperative use. The Airo is mobile and can be easily driven to and from the OR. The Airo serves to simplify the workflow, enhance usability and enable a medical imaging platform readily available whenever and wherever it’s needed. Our culture is collaborative and passionate. What you will do:

You will join the sustaining engineering team working on the Airo TruCT. Your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Determining and ensuring the use of specific design approaches and parameters and conducting feasibility studies on new designs.

  • You will analyze equipment to establish operating data, ensure experimental tests are conducted and evaluate the results.

  • You will select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability and regulatory requirements.

  • You will apply creativity and engineering principles to the design, analysis and testing of X-ray/CT products.

  • You will support the creation and/or change of product requirements, specifications, test procedures and work instructions.

  • You'll create documentation of analysis, design and testing.

  • You will support manufacturing, internal testing, and manufacturing process development and participate in fabrication, assembly, integration and testing of prototypes.

What you need:

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.

  • 2+ years of equivalent experience.

  • Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and have the ability to understand geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing, preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience with SolidWorks or other CAD, preferred.

  • Demonstrated technical design and problem-solving skills, preferred.

  • Experience working in medical device design or other regulated industry, preferred.

  • Experience with PLM system such as Arena, preferred.

  • Assembly and metalworking skills, preferred.

Work From Home: Occasional

Travel Percentage: 10%
