Job Description

Main objective / purpose of the role:  

The incumbent is responsible for leading the development and execution of key marketing strategies to defend and grow current business.  Plans, directs, and coordinates the selling activities of Sales Representatives under his/her supervision in accordance with budgeted objectives in order to obtain maximum profitability and volume in relation to pre-set standards.  

Critical success factors / key deliverables:

  1. Sales Leads sales team, establishes their objectives and ensures the business strategies are followed with the purpose of reaching the established goals. Develops and recommends strategic plans with representatives to achieve greater market share/penetration

2. Marketing Lead Stryker Argentina’s marketing efforts focused on creating and optimizing an overall portfolio marketing strategy including new product prioritization and launches, and cross-franchise value proposition initiatives. Direct market insight and competitive analysis initiatives including the identification of competitive threats & technologies and creating strategies to defend and grow current business.

3. P&L Responsible for the franchises’s P&L including orders and net margins, pricing and margins strategy  Other duties as assigned by General Manager  5. People Leadership Coach, develop and lead direct reports by providing developmental and growth opportunities Build and maintain exceptional employee engagement throughout the department Conduct annual performance reviews     

4. Compliance Must conduct all business and affairs in compliance with all laws and regulations, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Stryker Code of Conduct,and in accordance with the highest ethical standards.  

Academic qualifications / degree & relevant prior experience:

  • University Degree in business with an emphasis in Marketing or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience required
  • 8 + years of experience in Marketing/Sales leadership and/or strategic planning & analysis
  • 8 years of sales and/or sales management experience B.B.A. or B.S
