About the role

As Senior Clinical Research Associate you will ensure that studies are correctly designed, coordinated, completed and analysed to provide the highest level of scientific evidence and most effective outcomes.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity.

What you will do

  • Clinical study planning and management of plan execution, in accordance with global study metrics
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and study investigators
  • Developing and reviewing trial protocols including literature searches of published articles
  • Writing site monitoring visit reports, reviewing reports of junior team members where required
  • Preparing and conducting Investigator meetings
  • Coordinate communication with the ethics committee and study sites, including completion of ethics application and associated governance documents
  • Setting up study sites, monitoring trials, closing down study sites and preparing final study reports
  • Communication of trial activities to internal stakeholders including marketing, RAQA, Legal and Operations, and Global Clinical stakeholders if required.
  • Represent Stryker South Pacific in global clinical forums
  • Clinical research vendor identification and management
  • Mentor and supervise junior members of clinical research team

What you need

  • Tertiary qualifications in biological science, health sciences, bioengineering or similar clinical or medical device related area, with a significant element of experimental design, data analysis and presentation are essential
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience of clinical trial administration and management
  • A proven ability to manage within a team and coordinate activities of people in an organised and logical fashion
  • Ability to use initiative and work toward established goals with a minimum of ongoing guidance and direction
  • A high level of both verbal and written communication skills
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with data / clinical personnel and surgeons
