What you will do

As a Senior Calibration Specialist, you will work within the Stryker Share Services Metrology Team, responsible for inspection related activities.

  • You will advise all engineering groups on analysis of inspection data, gauge R&R results and inspection methods to establish optimum process parameters
  • You will develop continuous improvement and management tools for Metrology processes
  • You will be responsible for redesigns or adjustments to measurement capability to minimize errors
  • You will advise engineering groups including Supplier Quality on methods of resolving measurement problems / conflict
  • You will be a liaison with the calibration vendor to promote partnership and resolve roadblocks.
  • You will support engineering, quality and laboratory personnel in design through on geometric tolerancing, tolerance stack-ups and gauge design
  • You will should be able to partner with  vendor and internal designers on the interpretation of product design drawings, clarifying and improving challenges within design.

What you need

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Science related discipline
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience
  • Experience in project management preferred
  • Previous experience in inspection software programming essential
  • Experience in application of GD&T essential
