What you will do

The Supply Chain Business Analyst is responsible for successful execution of processes involved in the management of inventory for customers utilizing an off-site warehouse or 3rd party distribution channel. This includes, but is not limited to, account setup, item setup, inventory management, stock replenishment, invoicing and product returns. Additionally, this position includes responsibility for executing the customer experience strategy by analyzing data to prioritize order fulfillment and mining information across customer touch points to drive dashboard reporting that connects customer performance to device savings and waste reduction opportunities.  The role requires the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast paced environment, respond to customer inquiries, oversee specific internal transactions, assess and mitigate risks and ensure on-time and high quality delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement transactions for 3rd party distributors
  • Interact with customers to process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products/services
  • Develop, compile and communicate inventory performance metrics to leadership team at defined intervals
  • Manage the customer’s indirect channel procurement setup and maintenance; item, pricing, inventory levels, transfers, returns
  • Evaluate distributor inventory and sales trace data to generate replenishment to defined level of Days of Inventory On-Hand (DIOH) while minimizing excess, no move (ENM) as well as returns.
  • Execute the creation and management of indirect channel orders, including expedited deliveries, transfers, etc. 
  • Assist Account Receivables with resolution of credit inquires, proof of deliveries, shipment discrepancies, etc. 
  • Implement and measure supply chain improvements, such as process improvement, cost avoidance, etc.
  • Coordinate with the Corporate Accounts team to provide support through business analytics for performance reviews 
  • Compile trending, comparative and ad-hoc reports, as requested;
  • Additional activities, projects or assignments, as defined Supervisory Responsibilities

What you need

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 3+ years in the Customer Care or Business Analyst role  
  • APICS or PMP Certification preferred
  • Proven project management including Microsoft Suite proficiency; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills  
  • Demonstrated leadership and aided in building engaged team culture
  • Achievement and/or consistent improvement of dashboard goals
  • Established track record in successfully managing internal and external relationships
  • Demonstrated success within inventory management and monitoring supply chain performance
  • Excellent written/oral presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a rapidly changing environment and prioritize continuously shifting deliverables  
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, JD Edwards or equivalent ERP, Business Objects or Cognos
