Job Description

The Senior Analyst, Contracts and Pricing develops, evaluates and implements pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics.

What you will do:

  • Monitor compliance with pricing policies.
  • Suggest and assist with implementing pricing strategy determined by the division and business unit leadership.
  • Identify target accounts and outlier prices for risk exposure reduction.
  • Support analytical needs of division sales and Health Care Systems for IDN’s and GPO’s.
  • Monitoring commitments and restrictions for GPO, IDN and Government accounts reporting.  Prepare and deliver accurate and timely defined pricing metrics for each business unit.  
  • Report on pricing metrics and may support the development action plans for each business unit based on review of metrics designed to drive incremental improvement in overall pricing metrics.  Follow-up with appropriate business partners to discuss opportunities in action plans and document outcomes. 
  • Provide ad hoc pricing analysis and guidance, including third party information sources (i.e., MD buyline, ECRI, etc.), to sales reps, regional managers and the marketing team as requested.
  • Assist with pricing department sales force education strategy, including defining the appropriate touch points and developing and maintaining training material. 
  • Consistently seek areas for process and procedure improvement.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree (business related discipline preferred)
  • 2 years of related sales operations, pricing, data analytics experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise good judgment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Power BI experience is a plus

Travel Percentage: 10%
