This role provides support and performs activities for the finance team and Finance Manager for all the general accounting and financial reporting activities for the legal entities and reporting entities in Turkey with the objective to make sure that all the Stryker US GAAP and local GAAP reporting requirements ad standards are implemented and continuously met.

Accounting process:

  • Prepare and process Journal Entries as part of the bookkeeping process.
  • Participate and support the team in all finance processes like ME close, projections and budget cycle
  • Process vendor invoices and manage the statutory accounts payable
  • Perform account receivables/payables activities including reconciliation of account on a monthly basis
  • Review and process Expense Reports in local and foreign currency and maintain updated records of these reports; check each BER from accuracy and compliance point of view
  • AMEX card statement records and make payments.
  • Prepare and/ or support with customs declarations process
  • Prepare and/ or support with tax declarations process
  • Process bank statements in local end foreign currency and month-end revaluations
  • Process payment orders manually, On-line for local suppliers and intercompany suppliers
  • Accounts reconciliation process into Black Line at the end of each month for specific accounts assigned
  • Prepare and process the monthly recharges
  • Intercompany reconciliation process
  • Prepare quarterly schedules and Year end schedule for reporting for bank guarantees, collect and send the scan copies for all valid bank guarantees.
  • Support the finance team with other and ad hoc questions/ requirements.
  • Delivers support for finance projects if applicable and needed
  • Support and work closely together with the FP&A team for reporting requirements

Academic qualifications / degree & relevant prior experience:

  • Degree holder in Accounting of Finance
  • Proficient in MS Office suite Knowledge of computerized ERPs will be advantageous
  • Preferable HFM knowledge
  • International work environment experience
  • Second or third career step
