Job Description


  • Perform all activities to maximize sales (in line with the sales strategy) from product introduction and presentation to contract negotiation in clinic and pre-clinic.
  • Train and create customer loyalty
  • Analyze the market place, develops an effective territory/account sales strategy, and presents the strategy to management to gain approval for implementation.
  • Identify and address all key decision makers (clinical, administrative /economic) key opinion leaders and key referrals in all accounts and reports on them to the district manager on a regular basis.
  • Further develop existing accounts into new products and develops entirely new accounts.
  • Build strong and lasting business relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process.
  • Identify and prepares upcoming tenders.
  • Provide technical support to customers according to territory guidelines.
  • Ensure that consignment and all other stock levels are properly controlled.
  • Report to the management

*Minimum qualifications

  • Knowledge of the decision making process with customers         
  • Selling experience in the medical (device) industry with consistent over-plan performance (minimum 5 years)
  • Demonstrate a strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills and drive for results, planning, organizational and reporting capabilities
  • Team oriented, ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and superiors
  • Self-motivated, showing confidence and self-reliance

Travel Percentage: Up to 75%
