Job Description
Provides leadership to a team of sales account managers, associate territory managers in a defined geographic area and supports the sales process to ensure achievement of regional sales monthly, quarterly, and annual quota. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: selection of talent, personal and professional development of team, performance management, development and implementation of regional business plan.
- Works in leadership of the efforts of the regional sales team by providing support during the sales process as needed by
account managers. - Develops and implements regional business plans to consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual quota.
- Responsible for keeping the Director of Sales and Customer Service informed of all sales related activity, market trends, highlights and competitor activity within the region.
- Responsible for driving employee engagement through communication, support and responsive management.
- Actively seeks to recruit and select talent through the consistent use of candidate screening and interviewing. Partners with Human Resources, as needed.
- Focuses on the personal and professional development of sales team to ensure on-going engagement and success.
- Pursues new business opportunities, new markets and acquisitions, as necessary.
- Accountable for running a profitable business unit by ensuring pricing integrity of all products as well as driving accuracy in order entry and shipment schedules
- Accountable for the effective management of regional trial units and works to ensure their sale within expected guidelines.
- Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications.
- Utilizes proper software and technological tools to maintain proper records.
- Contributes to leading in product innovation by listening and working with others and contributing new ideas.
- Contributes to the success of team members by implementing good supervisory and team management practices and techniques.
- Focuses on customer satisfaction by demonstrated teamwork and empowerment, solving problems through a consultative approach, operating with honesty and integrity and providing a highly responsive and unsurpassed level of customer service.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline required.
- Must be PC literate.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office.
- Must possess valid driver license in the state of residence.
- Extensive travel may be required. Work hours may vary depending upon the needs of the customers.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to use independent judgment effectively.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills specifically relating to stress management, people management, project management, and conflict management.
- Two to four years of sales experience and demonstrated leadership ability is highly preferred. Must possess excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
