    Essential Functions
    *Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, Team Members to gain insight into all aspects of the branch Attend and/or prepare a sales presentation

    *Prepare a project segment that develops a target account list and or development of a marketing potential or strategy

    *Learn selling skills, processes, and instrument use techniques by coaching/mentoring support from Sales Representatives, Sales Associates and Sales Managers

    *Shadow and assist Team Member Drivers with the delivery of kits to and from account

    *Assist Team Members in warehouse in assembling and breaking down instrument kits, preparing products for surgery, etc.

    *Interact with various teams concerning the products

    *Assist Sales and Field Operations Teams with special projects as assigned

    *Minimum Qualifications

    In order to be considered for this position, students must be enrolled in a Bachelors degree program (specific degree is not required) and have a strong interest in working in the medical device/orthopedic industry.   Students must have completed their Sophomore year, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be eligible to work in the United States

    Intern will be involved in communicating and implementing largest operational change management project initiated by Stryker Orthopaedics in last decade.  Intern will be trained and tested on basics of anatomy and medical device product systems offered by Stryker Ortho.  He or she will be provided an orientation to our inventory management systems: WebOps and RFID and will assist in transitioning our inventory from site specific kits to a corporately standardized kits.  Intern will also be responsible for ensuring all inventory and instruments housed at hospital locations are uploaded and captured in system in accordance with new requirements.  Intern will have the opportunity to shadow sales reps to gain a better understanding of needs and requirements of sales team during operational transition.
