Job Description

  • Reporting: Will provide support by taking primary responsibility for development and completion of Sales Measurement Metrics
  • Data Integrity. Resolve data discrepancies as they arise. This portion of the role to extend to issues involving Sales Compensation, Pricing or Sales Metrics. When possible proactively identify and address areas in which data collection or data entry is contributing to incomplete or misleading information.
  • Processes: Will manage the territory alignment process for the designated BU
  • Processes: Will support to develop all Sales Rep and Region Quota assessment and development materials
  • Tools: Will be Sales Pulse, order details & Surgical Penetration Database “super User”
  • Systems: Will act as Liason with the assigned BU to Sales Enablement, Sales Comp. & I.T. on all Sales and data management matters
  • Communications: Will work actively with Sales Operations, Compensation, Pricing management, Sales Leadership and/or BU leadership to communicate activities within scope of job responsibilities
  • Analysis: Will assist in the analysis of internal and external data sources to support sales strategies and programs
  • Analysis: Will work with Strategic Sales & Marketing team to identify targeted sales opportunities.
  • Training: Will provide training on Sales tools and processes to others as requested
  • Continuous improvement: Consistently work to evolve processes, metrics and job duties to improve efficiency, accuracy
  • Other: Will submit periodic reports on assigned topics as requested

Job Requirements

• Excellent analytical skills.
• Proficient in data analysis tools including Access, Excel and other database and knowledge management systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated effective organizational skills.
• 0-2 years in a marketing, sales or related position.
• Fundamental computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Must be able to generate and explain detailed reports, guidelines and procedures.
• Must be able to analyze and resolve non-routine product issues using independent judgement.
• Must be able to routinely make decisions that may affect immediate operations and have a divisional effect.
• Must be able to observe and correct minute inconsistencies (e.g. in the printed word, product appearance, etc.)
• B.B.A. or B.S. in any field (emphasis in finance, data-analytics, business systems or a related discipline preferred)
