The Job's Mission is:


Responsible for providing insights and analysis of sales performance indicators to sales leadership teams in Europe.  

The role aims to deliver a new analytical capability to segment our customers by opportunity and newly provide territory level insights as enabler of the yearly Regional Business unit’s Key performance Indicators setting process across all Divisions.

The sales operational support includes timely, accurate sales allocation according to the local sales organizational structure by division and enable standardized sales KPI reporting by geographies, products, customers and sales reps.

Part of the Analytics team, this is a strategic role to help Stryker deliver its growth strategy in Europe following the TOM structure.

Together with other EU operational and commercial Analysts and a Data Scientist, the Centre of Excellence (COE) Analytics team will create scalable, analytical capabilities in partnership with BI which enable the Division/Country commercial teams to reduce time spent on data searching, cleaning, reporting and shift focus towards running the business with supporting facts, insights and foresights.


The senior Operational Analyst will act – reporting to the Sales Operations Analyst Team Lead– as project manager and/or process owner when building innovative , analytical sales operations processes & tools across Europe and train sales/marketing users on new BI tools in multiple markets, he/she will be responsible for the implementation of new BI applications within the respective local commercial teams and ensure a set of standardized European sales performance reports continue to meet the needs of a changing sales structure.

Moreover, the Sales Analyst will strongly collaborate with sales management of EU markets and together with the Divisional commercial Analysts as to give insight based consultancy during the yearly process of new sales territories & sales targets setting.

Key Activities & Accountabilities:


  • Responsible for delivering information, KPIs, standardized set of reports for supporting the respective Region commercial senior leadership. Take part in initiatives to drive governance of the European standardized sales dashboards.
  • Analyze Stryker commercial data and interact closely with RHQ Division and Country leaders to disseminate customer insights
  • Execution of new BI strategy around reporting and analytical capabilities to support management and executive key decision making.
  • Collect, consolidate, analyze and maintain data on account sales potentials
  • project lead of one or more European scale programs with responsibility for results in terms of methods and outcomes
  • Collaborate with IT to build /test necessary BI infrastructure
  • Support of SFE initiatives such as territory mgt, target setting and sales force compensation
  • Coordinate, validate, reconcile sales data issues with the various business functions (Customer Service, Finance, MdM etc..) when needed, following a frame work
  • Create and execute BI tool training programs for sales/marketing users

Job requirements 

  • Minimum 2 years experience as sales operational analyst or BI Analyst or similar role
  • Good knowledge of the Europe BI solutions including data model and information flow
  • Solid understanding of sales related data
  • Experienced working with multiple data sets
  • Co-located with the local business and other analysts or at RHQ (mastery of key local language)
  • Very good knowledge of English (both written and oral)
  • Willingness to travel (quarterly, not frequently)
