Job Overview

This position is responsible for supporting the Spine and CMF sales and marketing leadership teams in analyzing portfolio, brand and product data to provide actionable recommendations and insights to drive sales and optimize business investments.  The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills as well as an ability to translate analysis on the business into recommended strategies.  This individual must serve as a contributing member of the Marketing team while championing Stryker’s Mission and Values.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Analyze a variety of data sources and combine insights to deliver actionable recommendations on sales growth strategies, risks and opportunities within the Spine & CMF businesses.
  • Support marketing business review and annual strategy planning sessions by providing key information deliverables and business insights through sales reporting and presentations.
  • Own the day to day management of sales reporting systems and build a standard sales reporting structure for the Spine and CMF business units.
  • Provide analysis and sales reporting to Spine and CMF leadership to facilitate improved sales force management
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams such as purchasing, finance and customer service to management open orders. safety stock levels, and other operational deliverables.
  • Identify areas for operational improvements and develop solutions, including the identification of data integrity errors as they may arise.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to optimize asset utilization
  • Assistance with development and delivery of marketing programs and execution of sales promotions
  • Manage/update the creation of price books to reflect current pricing and work with the finance department to reflect current commission rates
  • Manage the Spine and CMF capital selling programs including the development of quoting tools and ensuring orders are placed and delivered efficiently
  • Answering product inquiries from customers, sales force and internal stakeholders
  • Provide and develop content for monthly marketing reports, shared sales rep resource drive and product launches
  • Assume responsibility for technical and marketing support of specific products as designated by management
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Highly analytical and able to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.  Experience with ACCESS, Cognos and PowerBI an asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple functions and adhere to daily deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tell a story through data.
  • Excellent people skills and a positive, professional image at all times

Education & Qualifications

  • Completed post secondary education required
  • 1-3 years experience preferred
  • Experience in the medical field is an asset
  • Expereince providing management analytics and working with sales teams an asset
  • Bilingual French & English an asset
  • Strong understanding of Oracle, operations, and previous coordinator experience is an asset
  • Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
