Job Description

  • Works to understand Endoscopy business units (BU's) business goals and creates all education programs to align with the BU’s current goals and future strategy
  • Works to maintain a strong knowledge of Endoscopy’s MIS (minimally invasive surgery) visualization and connectivity portfolios, services, customers, and competition to remain relevant and effective.
  • This person is responsible for customization and launching the CRUSH (proprietary sales education application) digital platform across all Endo BU's
  • This person must be an expert on advanced imaging and a connectivity subject matter expert who leads the development of effective visualization and connectivity training materials.
  • Works to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and Endo sales force to ensure training is relevant and actionable to Endo Sales Force
  • Builds training programs and content specific to Endoscopy’s visualization and connectivity portfolio, enabling the sales force to deliver technically relevant products and provide value to our customers
  • Identifies skills and behaviors of top performing reps and works to cultivate those skills and drive those behaviors to all sales reps
  • Digital Content Management: prioritize, create, integrate, and publish LMS (learning management system) training materials to the sales professionals; implement and manage on-going feedback with the sales professionals to drive continuous improvement
  • Training: build out a calendar of formal and informal sessions covering new hires sales training, connectivity, and 1688 visualization courses, ongoing skill development, etc
  • Must have sales experience to train and curate sales skills and trialing content


  • Minimum 4 years of relevant sales/marketing experience
  • At least 1 year medical device sales experience with a strong track record of success
  • Experience in teaching, mentoring, coaching, and developing others
  • Demonstrates patience and a passion for educating others 
  • Ability to take complex concepts and skills into small, manageable “chunks”
  • Ability to tailor coaching and training specific to an individual, instead of a “one approach fits all” mentality
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize and execute objectives in a timely manner 
  • Has a positive attitude and is solution-oriented
  • Demonstrates ability to work, make decisions and solve problems independently 
  • Ability to communicate and present information effectively, both verbally & in written for, with key stake holders and customers.
