Job Description

Develop relationships with Residents and Fellows (R/F), oversee and track R/F activity, facilitate R/F transition from training into practice.
  • Partner with Sales leadership and local representatives to identify Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic R/F’s across the US and enter into R/F database
  • Manage and maintain R/F database/tracker
  • Analyze and disseminate R/F contact information and other data to the sales force on a regular basis
  • Identify and build strategic and long-term partnerships with R/Fs and Program Directors
  • Partner with Medical Education team to provide insight on topics and format of educational programs specific to R/F’s
  • Lead coordination and execution of R/F transition process to practice
  • Provide the salesforce with regular updates, best practices via weekly newsletter, quick Stryke, email and WebEx forums
  • Manage and maintain Job Board
  • Attend 3rd party meetings focused on R/F as appropriate
  • Enter regional and local R/F events into Tacklebox

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 7 years of medical device sales and/or marketing experience
  • Should have a minimum of two years experience interacting with Residents/Fellows (R/Fs) in and out of the hospital setting
  • Keen knowledge of neuro resident and orthopedic spine fellowship programs regionally and/or nationally
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate immediate and long-term relationships
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and remove obstacles to achieve deliverables
  • Ability to take initiative, learn new concepts and improve current processes.
  • Have knowledge of Med Ed programs, educational grants and other program resources
