Experienced at leading a high performing team within the Med Tech sector? Highly driven with a proven track record of top and bottom line success? Stryker Trauma has a unique opportunity for a highly driven and experienced individual to lead their Trauma Franchise covering Scotland, Northern Ireland and North-East England.  

Responsible for people and resource management, the successful applicant will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible to lead the continued sales and growth success of the Franchise. 


 Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sales to agreed annual budget whilst managing the cost base and help deliver on the UK P&L target. Provide accuracy in projections and forecasting to ensure business expectations are met.
  • Manage, lead, and motivate a high performing sales team (11 heads) to sustained success. Use a data driven approach to identify new account targets and to defending business in existing accounts. 
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and future customers. Be the management point of contact for Stryker T&E to ensure the business keeps pace with market trends. Provide insights and solutions to customer issues.
  • Support and collaborate with enabling functional teams such as Contracts & Pricing, Compliance, Customer Service Teams, Accounting Teams to ensure smooth Order to Cash process is maintained and our customers receive the highest levels of Service.
  • Understand / utilise market dynamics to support business acceleration. 
  • Take a creative approach to new business development for both current and future technologies and platforms. 
  • Be a critical member of the UK T&E management team responsible for the success of the wider franchise.

Experience

  • Strong commercial acumen in delivering both top and bottom line performance
  • 5 Years, proven Medical Sales success within the Medical Device Arena
  • Regional Sales Management and Product / Marketing Experience (desirable)
  • Be Educated to Degree level or higher
  • Presentation skills with modern presentation media
