Job Description

This is a truly dynamic opportunity for a talented, highly motivated Senior Sales Representative who can drive the growth of our Endoscopy Portfolio, which includes the Stryker Visualization and Stryker Sports medicine product portfolios; in Belgium and the Netherlands. You will be part of a high caliber, target driven sales team, who share a strong belief in helping our customers to improve patient care and outcomes through the use of our products and services.  You should have impeccable ethics and use integrity management to ensure the delivery of Stryker’s vision of being the most admired company.

You will report directly to the Business Unit Director, Endoscopy BeNeSAP.

You will be responsible for the management of your sales area, the leadership of the Sales team, as well as sales/turnover and costs so that optimized customer service and acquisition of new customers is guaranteed. You must have a proven track record of delivering exceptional results over an extended period, both personally and through teams. 

This position is the perfect challenge for a Senior Sales Representative ready to take the next step and lead a Sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exceed & deliver against the quarterly and yearly business budget whilst managing equipment utilization, recurring revenue pipeline development alongside accurate forecasting vs. budget.
  • Coach, manage, lead and motivate a high performing sales team, supporting and driving them strategically and tactically to accelerate business growth
  • Support and collaborate with enabling teams, such as contracts & pricing, compliance, customer service and accounting; to ensure a smooth order to cash process is maintained and our customers receive the highest levels of service.
  • Build local clinical champions to drive forward both current and future technology platforms across the entire portfolio. 
  • Understand / utilize market dynamics to support business acceleration. 
  • Take a creative approach to new business development for both current and future technologies and platforms. 

Experience/Education

  • At least 5 years Sales experience with a proven track record in Sales
  • Commercial skills in leading a profit centre
  • Experience in the Medical Technology sector is preferable
  • A Degree in Science/Business is preferable OR training in a Medical,/Scientific/Technical field
  • Experience in leading and coaching a Sales team is not essential provided you are a successful Senior Sales Rep ready to step up and lead a Sales team
  • Product knowledge in the general or orthopaedic surgery sector is preferable
  • IT literate: CRM; MS Office; modern presentation media
  • Native Dutch and Fluent English essential; fluent French is advantageous

Other Information

This role will require up to 60% regional travel and to stay away from home overnight on a regular basis for customer visits.
