What you will do

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for product lifecycle management, product development, OEM and business development in close alignment with key stakeholders in LatAm, US and globally. Responsible for developing business cases and sourcing new products, companies, technologies, and intellectual property that meet the relevant strategic initiatives. With the support from a MKT Director, prepare business cases which will include execution of due diligence, strategic rationale and management of key relationships with the potential strategic partner.

Key Activities:

  • LatAm Representative to collaborate on product development pipeline and R&D cooperation
  • Identify companies, products, technologies, and intellectual property as viable acquisition opportunities that fit the strategic business focus
  • Close cooperation with divisions, US and other global stakeholders to define and find consensus on product and business development strategy
  • Execute field due diligence and voice of the customer through marketing, sales channels and key opinion leaders to fully understand the opportunity
  • Prospecting for new business and writing proposals - identify opportunities to win business
  • Develop and execute programs to engage customers and gather insights for product development projects
  • Partner with Market Insights and third party market research companies to execute primary and secondary research and surveys
  • Plans, directs and coordinates the external market analysis for product acquisitions
  • Support new product launches regionally.
  • Development of product and process solutions to make it easy for our customer to do business with Stryker.

What you will need

  • Bachelors degree in Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Life Science or relevant field (Masters or MBA Highly desirable).
  • Previous experiences in Pharma/ med-tech industry.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English, Spanish will be considered as a plus.
