What you will do

As a Quality Systems Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the development and management of data analytics and data warehousing. Works within the RAQA Quality Systems Team to solve complex and technical issues while developing and innovating business intelligence solutions for our users. Research new technology, tools, and practices to further develop the maturity of our data and data science applications for RAQA processes. Support projects and initiatives that give value to our teams and can generate efficiencies with analyzing, reporting, or review of data for metrics, KPIs, research, and data driven processes.

Quality Systems / Data Science / Data Analytics:

  • Support the development and operation of BI solutions that enable fact-based decision making, ad-hoc analysis, and insight generation.
  • Collaborate with process owners and data users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data visualization and use.
  • Collaborate with data owners to improve data quality and streamline data preparation.
  • Support the design of databases and data warehouse to ensure BI solution compatibility
  • Support data management activities and data governance as needed
  • Perform data exploration on source data using BI tools and programming languages.
  • Provide technical expertise in the area of data cleansing, data preparation, and performance monitoring.
  • Help develop automated solutions for data collection, cleansing, and refreshing from source systems (ETL).
  • Ensure solutions are scalable and flexible to support growing user needs.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement of existing quality and regulatory systems/tools in support of our departmental and divisional visions. 
  • Drive quality support as a consultant to our organization to build understanding of quality concepts and drive our quality culture.

Quality Management and Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive data analysis to identify improvement opportunities or lead quality improvements of our products, systems, or processes
  • Manage/Lead our Quality Planning that helps us achieve our strategic vision and key initiatives
  • Business Unit Highlights – Deliver or support the Monthly/Regular recurring data analysis and trending to support the Quality Plan.
  • Analytics Development and Continuous Improvement
  • May lead our data science activities in data analytics.
  • May create and support development/maintenance of dashboards and metrics.
  • Use BI related tools to analyze data and report out results for quality processes / improvements
  • Cost Reduction Team Support – Support initiatives as needed
  • Special Projects – As needed by Business Unit and Department

Regulatory Compliance:

  • May support/participate in internal compliance audits
  • May support external audits – Vendor and Sister Divisions
  • Monitor compliance to Medical Quality Procedures and FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR’s) and update as necessary

What you will need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher, strongly preferred
  • Experience with data, analytics, statistics, and/or BI software, systems, or tools
  • Experience with Tableau/Power BI preferred
  • Experience with R, Python, SQL is a plus
  • Understanding of databases and data warehouses preferred
