What you will do

As a Divisional Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting Instruments Divisional Quality initiatives for existing products while providing input on new product development through post market trending and analysis.

Your ability to build strong, effective partnerships with multiple internal teams will enable you to solve problems through a consultative approach, ensure reliability and quality in our products and contribute to continuous product and process improvement in line with producing industry leading product innovations.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Investigate related failures, design, and manufacturing history of failed devices
  • Update risk documentation as appropriate
  • Trend and Analyze post market product complaint data and provide updates to Division quality leadership
  • Participate in cross-functional product improvement teams to identify and define product improvement opportunities
  • Initiate, track, and document Commercial Holds initiated by the Division
  • Provide post market quality support to the Business Units as well as the Sales Force
  • Facilitate and manage team of subject matter experts to generate appropriate technical documentation throughout the Product Field Action Assessment process and present to the Product Field Action Board
  • May travel as needed to customer accounts to provide product expertise and observe utilization practices
  • Helping guide R&D through the quality system to ensure product changes are carried out in compliance to those procedures as well as the requirements of the FDA, ISO, and other regulatory bodies
  • Reviewing and evaluating product change documentation for technical competence to ensure delivery of robust products changes

What you need

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering strongly preferred.

Work From Home: Occasional

Travel Percentage: 10%
