What You Will Do

As a Project Engineer, you will be working on designing and creating implants and instrumentation relating to our foot and ankle products. You will work within CAD/ProE creating models of instruments and implants, doing drawings for manufacturing, facilitating prototyping, design controls, and dimensional analysis and preparing plans for testing. You will develop implant and instrument designs to solve clinical problems in foot and ankle. You’ll have autonomy to make impactful decisions while working with a complex project team. Part of your team is remote, so you will spend time working with them to build and share best practices. On more than a few occasions, your time will be spent in cadaver labs, working with and getting feedback from surgeons on our products. That feedback provides you with valuable insight on how to design and create our implants and tools.

What You Need

  • 5+ years of product design experience in experience in the medical device industry or equivalent, orthopedics preferred
  • Experience in the function, clinical issues and performance requirements of orthopedic implants.
  • Experience leading complex new product development initiatives from concept through release.
  • Experience in design controls and risk management within a regulated industry
  • Experience with a parametric CAD design package. Prefer ProE

Work From Home: Occasional

Travel Percentage: 10%
