Advanced Operations is leading the creation of a global team dedicated to achieving excellence in Manufacturing Transfer (MT) This role will support our Manufacturing Transfer team  being a Key Enabler of transformation delivering on “cost out” opportunities to become a global competitive advantage.

Location:  Limerick, Ireland

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee manufacturing transfer projects from beginning to end
  • Identify processes to be implemented and manage the introduction of new capital equipment and support the associated qualification and validation activities
  • Evaluate process layouts in terms of supporting new process integration while ensuring best utilization of floor space and optimum process flow
  • Perform metrology using a CMM device
  • Ensure quality of process and product
  • Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and PPAP generation associated wth product transfers and launches

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical
  • 8-10 years of engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing setting, such as medical device, aerospace or automotive
  • Experience with metrology and programming CMM devices (required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, with excellent ability to analyze and problem solve
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and results-oriented team environment
  • Ability to learn a variety of different manufacturing technologies
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product and process design
