Summary

As member of the PMO team this position is responsible for providing data-based project insights to ensure clear visibility to the leadership team. This data will enable appropriate portfolio decision making and future project planning.

The successful candidate will work within the PMO department, in an individual contributor capacity, and has responsibility for all data related activities in PMO which includes, but not limited to the following:

  • Create, roll-out and own the process to collect and present data as it pertains to projects ran by PMO.
  • Standardize data input requirements leveraging existing data sources, where possible, to report current PMO project status.
  • Develop an estimating model based on historical data to aid future projects in planning timeline, resources and funding requirements.
  • Apply advanced analytics methods, exploring predictive modelling and machine learning, to measure project performance and help guide portfolio-level decisions
  • Analyze data and project information to identify business process improvements.
  • Identify the appropriate business forums to present tailored dashboards in.
  • Act as a key contributor for PMO into the IGC process
  • On an on-going basis, gather VoC to ensure that business needs for data analytics are being met and adapt data being gathered and measures being reported accordingly
  • Review and enhance all data flows in PMO
  • Business owner for Tempus, NV’s resource management tools
  • Work with functional managers, project and program managers and area Tempus administrators to ensure the potential for Tempus is being optimized

Qualifications/Knowledge requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Project Management or Data Management discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Medical, Pharmaceutical, Bio-Medical/Pharma, Automotive or regulated environment.
  • Ability to initiate and implement change with a demonstrated track record (at individual level or team level)
  • Experienced in a wide variety of data analytics and statistical methods so the best tool can be selected based on the data set and business need
  • Experience in Power BI and Tableau, a distinct advantage
  • Must be able to work in a team & individual environments, interacting effectively at all levels, and across all functions with ability to develop organisational relationship and build trust.
  • Demonstrated ability to make timely and sound decisions, through effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions. Works with a sense of urgency at all times.

The candidate must be highly organized and disciplined and be able to demonstrate their ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrated Initiative.

Work From Home: Occasional

Travel Percentage: 10%
