We are currently seeking a Program Manager, Clinical, Quality and Regulatory to join our Joint Replacement Division to be based in Mahwah, NJ.

What you will do

As the Program Manager, Clinical, Quality and Regulatory you will function as a team member on complex projects. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans. Orchestrate team efforts to achieve milestones and resolve issues. Maintain visibility and exposure to all disciplines of operations, product development, marketing and senior management. With a focus in the Clinical, Quality, and Regulatory Compliance functions, this role will interface with numerous functions of the business, including Marketing, R&D, and Operations. You will ensure that the projects in the portfolio deliver on-time and on-budget. You will play a major role in helping to coordinate project management activities across our multiple sites around the world. Through running project meetings, managing schedules, or developing strategic plans for new programs, you will be focused on ensuring that we deliver the products that support our corporate mission to make healthcare better.

  • Communicate frequently across all project disciplines to ensure both team and senior management are aware of upcoming milestones and risks/issues.
  • Conduct regular meetings with project teams to resolve issues and risks, maintain engagement/focus, and share updates with all team members.
  • Create and maintain program/project documentation (e.g. charter, roadmap/pipeline, risks and opportunities, lessons learned, etc.) to meet business goals and program objectives.
  • Maintain timelines with regular updates to re-project milestones, monitor critical path, and calculate launch dates while maintaining baseline data.
  • Coordinate with project leaders to foresee/understand critical project activities and to enable them to manage team resources and tasks to avoid critical path slippage.
  • Partner with project team members to maintain engagement and focus on project commitments and dependencies.
  • Create, maintain, and utilize project templates for various types of Quality/Regulatory projects.
  • Track and forecast project performance with respect to timeline and budget.
  • Develop and maintain project status tracking and reporting tools.
  • Improve team performance by building team cohesiveness, leading, influencing, training, mentoring and motivating to facilitate cooperation, ensure efficiency, and boost morale.

What you need

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (B.S or B.A) in a Business or Technical Field or equivalent focus is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years practical program leadership/project management experience required.
  • A solid track record of successful project completions, resource management, and project governance.
  • A PMP Certification is required.
  • Formal program/project management training or coursework highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently initiate work and assume responsibility for work that spans functional departments.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Applied knowledge of Microsoft applications, including MS Project and Visio.
