Job Descriptions: This position is a dynamic, multi-project-oriented job, overseeing the development and facilitation for approval of all collateral through Document Control for the marketing department and is also responsible for the due diligence on Grants, donations, sponsorships, and interactions with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) for the Acute Care Business Unit.  This role must ensure all work is compliant to branding guidelines, legal/regulatory requirements, and in alignment with marketing plan objectives. Projects must be delivered within agreed timelines and budget.  This individual will serve as a primary point of contact for outside consultants and speakers relative to all stages of contract negotiation, execution and track the utilization of consultants, as well as management of renewals.  This role may also assist with coordination of live educational events and will be responsible for communication with HCPs, Indirect Channels, and Transparency Reporting for the Medical Division.  This individual will ensure compliance to the Stryker Code of Conduct, AdvaMed Code of Ethics and the State regulations that govern Medical Devices Manufactures and educates others about these Regulations and Codes.

  • Collaborates with marketing team in regard to strategies for driving sales growth through product sustainment, identification of emerging markets, penetration of existing markets, orders, margin, and unit forecasting; competitive assessment; and gap analysis, sales support, distribution and pricing.
  • Serve as liaison to monitor, update, and assure accuracy of programs and processes around Master Control, RA/QA, OP-208, Savo, & Sales Training presentations/agendas
  • Supports the proactive development of the Professional Relations strategy.
  • Executes day to day management of Professional Relations function.
  • Implements process improvement across Professional Relations function.
  • Coordinate the Grants and Donations Committee for Acute Care Medical.  Partners with businesses to manage requests for new grant and donation requests with a thorough business evaluation process (e.g., Medical Education, Finance, Compliance)
  •  Review all site visit agendas, attendees and communicate with Administrative Assistants within Acute Care business unit.
  • Provide oversight of RMS (Request Management System) requests within businesses and ensure timely response.
  • Monitor Indirect Channels ensuring annual certifications are completed.
  • Interact with appropriate departments (legal, regulatory, marketing, NPD) on behalf of Brand Marketing
  • Complete due diligence on HCP events, HCP consultants
  • Must uphold the Stryker brand guidelines
  • Implement and sustain uniform program branding
  • Ensure compliance with branding
  • Remain knowledgeable on branding guidelines
  • Maintain understanding of process documentation, requirements, regulations, policies, processes and reconciliation.
  • Interact with HCP’s and facilities surrounding grant requests and process payments accordingly. Follow-up on reconciliation as needed.
  • Acts as company representative responsible for maintaining positive relationships with HCPs, administrators and facilities through oral and written communications.
  • Uphold metrics surrounding the Grant, Exhibit, Donation and Sponsorship process.
  • Orders forecasting on a monthly basis for use in planning, manufacturing and inventory management.
  • 20% travel required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Understanding of HCP interactions, compliance programs and medical procedures / practices/ products preferred.
  • Experience working within a professional education environment
  • 3-4 years working with healthcare professionals and advanced practice clinicians
  • Database management and computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Publication database research skills
  • Analytical and clinical / scientific skills
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize work and effectively manage time

Physical/Safety Requirements:

  • May involve prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling as appropriate.
  • Coordination of eye, hand, and/or foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination/memory, reading ability, and memory retention ability.
  • Harassment training required.
  • Blood-borne Pathogen training required.
