Job Description

    Job Summary

    Perform various manufacturing duties as required to ensure the team meets all goals and objectives.  Types of work include:

    • Advanced manual work such as hand finishing, fiber wheel and belting. 

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Demonstrated ownership of equipment, performing regular Autonomous Maintenance including cleaning equipment and work station
    • Engage in continuous improvement activities by solving  problems with structured problem solving process/approach and suggesting improvement ideas
    • Perform inspection using visual and standard measuring equipment such as gauges, calipers, micrometers and height indicators
    • Perform incoming receiving inspection.  Perform dimensional lay-out inspection on in-house and vended manufactured product.
    • Understand and follow all policies and procedures related to GMP/QMS/SOP

    DESIRED CAPABILITIES

    • Train peers on operations
    • Lead small scope improvements with guidance from manager
    • Understanding of Problem Solving or Lean processes
    • Prefer capability to assess equipment performance and perform first level troubleshooting
    • Coach others on GMP and QMS
    • Perform internal audits, run FAIs and assist with validations
    • Support/accept ECR changes within the cell
