We are looking for exceptional people who truly want to make a difference…. because at Stryker we do. As a Product Trainer, your key areas of accountability will be to:

  • Assist with the design and implementation of product focused Training Needs Analysis for SSP.
  • Training of new sales employees in with particular accountability around first year of employee tenure. This includes classroom based and field coaching. Assist with on-boarding of new employees as it relates to product knowledge and the application of product knowledge. (dependent on area of expertise)
  • Training of existing sales employees in medium and advanced levels of product knowledge and product knowledge application. This includes but not limited to new products and advanced product training for existing products.
  • Support, encourage and build product training faculty. Partner with product training faculty to deliver up to date product knowledge and product application training. Faculty includes CC’s, Experienced TM’s, Marketing and Experienced RM’s.
  • Partner effectively with Sales Learning and Development Manager and JR marketing group to appropriately incorporate selling skills knowledge and application at all levels of product training of associated training materials.
  • Assist in design, development and implementation of product based eLearning.
  • Assist with general training measures and reporting as it applies to on-boarding and product training records.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in working with Orthopaedic surgeons
  • Ability to assimilate technical information and communicate complex ideas is a simple and fluent fashion
  • Experience in working with technical and medical sales people
  • Sound problem solving skills
  • Ability to influence people and impact on behaviour change
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to provide coaching and feedback to others
