Job Description

The Product Marketing Specialist role is designed to help customers and partners build and manage an effective Automated External Defibrillator (AED) program that can help save lives.

Our Product Marketing Specialist will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Engineering, Sales, Service, Operations, and Finance among other teams to drive adoption of AED program management services.  AED program management plays a critical role for driving recurring revenue and will have a direct influence on the success of our AED portfolio. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting product offering strategy to drive consistent, market-leading growth.
  • Working closely with customers, monitor market dynamics and support sales and service to better position our offerings.
  • Researching industry trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Working cross-functionally to drive AED program management sales and adoption in established and emerging markets.
  • Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Care, and Engineering to prioritize AED program management upgrades and improvements, and identify implications for AED portfolio.
  • Monitoring financial performance, provide diagnoses, and influence other functions to achieve business goals.
  • Working cohesively and collaboratively with Brand and Portfolio Managers to deliver messaging and marketing tools and to achieve Global Marketing objectives.
  • Serving as a Subject Matter Expert for customer-facing teams to assist with customer presentations, training, field communication, and technical assistance.
  • Ensuring smooth integration with current and future AED product platforms by supporting product launches including planning, execution, and post-launch diagnosis.
  • Working cross-functionally to accelerate attach rate of AED program management services through direct and indirect channels globally.

Education, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field required.
  • 2+ years' experience in marketing or business preferred.
  • Relentless focus on meeting customer needs.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, competitive, and fast-paced environment to stay ahead of a quickly-evolving product category.
  • Ability to develop and execute product strategy.
  • Experience resolving daily internal and external obstacles and challenges that affect a product/service’s financial and market success.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, adept in driving alignment and understanding across multiple functions (Engineering, Finance, Sales, etc).
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically to anticipate customer needs.
  • Ability to manage high volume communications (email, voicemail, etc.).
  • Experience with Class III Medical Device, highly regulated environment preferred.
  • PC and MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
