Job Description

The Product Manager will be responsible for working with their supervisor in developing and driving product and marketing programs consistent with overall business. This will be achieved by utilizing traditional marketing approaches and methodologies.
  • Develops product and marketing strategies within a product line or marketing function.
  • Develops and executes product marketing strategies to achieve stated revenues and market share objectives.
  • Works with supervisor and leads co-workers to evaluate market trends and forecast segment penetration opportunities.
  • Works with outside agencies and organizations to benchmark marketing programs and brings best practices in house.
  • Establishes and oversees process resulting in consistent positioning and branding image throughout product lines, promotional materials and marketing/sales events.
  • Drives the product marketing and marketing messaging through out all communication mediums in order to deliver clear product education and support.
  • Collaborates with field sales management, consulting surgeons and patients to evaluate and execute marketing strategies and programs.
  • Drives the execution of internal engagement programs such as Partners for the Advancement of Spine Excellence (PASE).
  • Supports Spine sales force.

Job Requirements

  • 4 year degree or equivalent required
  • 5+ years’ experience in a classical marketing function and direct product management experience
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional and team oriented environment.
  • Refined analytical skills and ability to deliver results with multiple and complex projects.
  • Refined oral and written skills (both in groups and one-on-on interaction)
  • Some coaching required.
  • Background in healthcare products or medical devices highly preferred
