The Mako Product Manager is focused on further accelerating adoption of Mako within the UK market

The Mako Product Manager is the local market expert - understanding trends, competitive landscape, product performance and customer/user needs- and connecting these inputs with existing or future products and solutions.

The Mako Product Manager is expected to work in close alignment with European Mako Brand Manager to ensure aligned strategies and execution across Europe.

This role covers the whole of the UK and Ireland, so please expect significant travel. Regular meetings will take place in our UK HQ in Newbury, so please be prepared to be here for at least one day most weeks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing all aspects of marketing associated with the Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted platform
  • Partnering with Health-care institutions to deliver hospital marketing initiatives around the Mako platform.
  • Research, launch, or reposition products in local marketplace to maximize sales and growth using the ‘Big Picture’ Marketing approach
  • Identify, develop and maintain relationships with Stryker and competitor key opinion leaders (KOLs), reference centers and other influencers
  • Identification, planning, organization, and execution of marketing events, TPECs, congresses, and other professional education activities
  • Partner with Internal Education team to ensure sales force competency
  • Assist with must-win product evaluations, tenders, or customer presentations
  • Operational management of product portfolio- demand planning including anticipated equipment fleet needs, demonstration equipment, and local PLCM impact
  • Develop trust and strong relationships with sales professionals, internal stakeholders, and customers including extensive field travel
  • 50% Business Travel

Key Background

  • Ideally you will be qualified to degree level.
  • Product Management or Marketing qualifications are particularly welcome
  • Ideally you will have experience in a Product Management or Marketing role within the Medical Technologies sector
