What you will do

As the Product Manager you will be the local market expert for the segment and products; understanding trends, competitive landscape, product performance and customer/user needs and connecting these inputs with existing or future products and solutions.  You will be expected to work in partnership with commercial team and Central Marketing team to help build aligned strategies and ensure execution across Turkey and provide feedback to the Management team on the success of Turkish strategies, and effectiveness, in part through tracking metrics of execution.  

  • Market insight and expertise- including trends, competition, reimbursement, pricing, user needs, new product ideas and customer perceptions of brands
  • You will align local discretionary budget, strategy, and execution to country strategy to achieve growth and market share targets
  • Enable, educate, influence, and align sales team to local marketing strategy and communicate updates on key performance indicators
  • Research, launch, or re-position products in local marketplace to maximize sales and growth
  • Identify, develop and maintain relationships with Stryker and industry key opinion leaders (KOLs), reference centres and other influencer
  • Partner with Internal Education team to ensure sales force competence
  • Assist with must-win product evaluations, tenders, or customer presentation
  • Operational management of product portfolio- demand planning including anticipated equipment fleet needs, demonstration equipment, and local PLCM impact
  • Develop trust and strong relationships with sales professionals, internal stakeholders, and customers including extensive field travel
  • Act as Mentor and deliver training as and when necessary to junior /new comer sales team member
  • Act as a role model for global organizational, social and moral values

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Life Science or relevant field (Masters or MBA Highly desirable)
  • 5-7 years of marketing experience of which a significant portion is within Pharma/ med-tech industry.
  • Proven success record in leading marketing project incl. marketing plans, product launches and campaigns within healthcare industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of product management processes, planning and execution
  • Demonstrated leadership in innovating in the field of processes, marketing activities and market development.
  • In-depth experience in supporting the sales force and customer facing activities in the field.
