What You Will Do:

Create marketing campaigns. Increase sales of life-saving products. Improve healthcare. Change lives. 

As a Product Manager II at Stryker, you’ll create world-class marketing campaigns and programs designed to increase our market share of key hemorrhagic products, products that reverse stroke symptoms, improve health outcomes and ultimately save lives. You will be responsible and accountable for voice of customer, product and branding messaging, regional launches, product and therapy training, portfolio management, competition intel, KOL engagement, key operational marketing activities and implementation of regional marketing strategies for assigned product lines within North America. You will have an emphasis on building in-market execution excellence to deliver both short and long-term goals.  Your key activities will include executing on business plans, presentations, proposals, sales and market development tools, data analysis, customer communication, event coordination, tradeshows, and tracking of key initiatives aimed at exceeding divisional sales and profitability objectives.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Execute product launch activities within North America

  • Develop and release marketing programs and campaigns to support downstream marketing initiatives for key products

  • Develop annual marketing plans to support assigned products including tactical plans to reach market share goals

  • Responsible for product life cycle management including end of life planning/execution and product matrix optimization for assigned product lines

  • Manage annual podium strategy for assigned products

  • Develop messaging to support North America Society meetings and provide on-site support for tech suites and fellows courses

  • Manage monthly forecasting updates to assigned products incorporating internal programs, market dynamics and competitive movements into the product forecasts.

  • Gather and share voice of customer from field visits with customers and sales representatives with upstream to Global Marketing and R&D

  • Deeply understand the competition and manage competitive intelligence

  • Support and/or creation of select Sales Tools

  • Other duties as assigned

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • 2-5 years of medical device or healthcare marketing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop product knowledge, understand market dynamics and collect competitive insights; ability to turn those insights into targeted tools and programs to meet commercial objectives
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the creation of branding materials, messaging, marketing communication, product launch, etc. preferred
  • Experience in executing on yearly business plans which include delivering on goals, strategies and tactics required
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute multiple simultaneous deliverables and work in a demanding environment
  • Knowledge of US and Canadian healthcare markets a plus
