Job Description

Product Manager Circulatory manages daily, short and longer term product projects and drives the market success of our Circulatory product portfolio globally with a focus on Europe.  

The Circulatory product portfolio currently encompasses the LUCAS chest compression system and the TrueCPR coaching device, tools used in sudden cardiac arrest patients to facilitate blood circulation during resuscitation.  

The role reports to the Marketing Director Circulatory in Lund, Sweden, where the LUCAS product is developed. The TrueCPR product development is located in Redmond, WA, US.  


Key responsibilities:


  • Develop and drive our short and long term business objectives for the product group
    • Work closely with our European sales and marketing teams and the world’s most interesting customers
    • Drive and execute market acceleration strategies for the product group
    • Monitor market dynamics, competitors and perform relevant market research to suggest new strategies to grow and defend our market leadership
    • Regularly track, analyze and report customer satisfaction, gaps and needs to suggest new strategies to grow market adoption
  • Work cohesively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams in Lund, Redmond and Kalamazoo to develop our Circulatory product offer.
    • Responsible for product management over the product life-cycle, e.g. daily support, product launches and product phase outs, with a focus on Europe
    • Be a key driver and market representative in cross-functional projects with R&D / quality / supply chain in Lund
    • Provide input to R&D and operations to develop new products and drive them through our internal systems to be ready at launch
    • Drive alignment between Circulatory product area and other Physio product areas, as well as between different functional departments globally 
  • Support sales and the customer-facing organization, with an emphasis on Europe
    • Support the sales organization on activities and questions related to the product area
    • Develop, drive and launch effective marketing/sales tools
    • Work cohesively and collaboratively with regional/segment/clinical marketing managers and marketing communication peers to deliver messaging and marketing tools and to achieve global marketing objectives
    • Support effective sales training of team-members
    • Develop and analyze promotional sales activities; e.g. evaluation program, seeding program
       

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in business, clinical or technical field or an equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in marketing, product management or relevant business management role.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish languages
  • PC and MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
     

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:  

  • MBA, ideally with concentration in marketing, healthcare field, business administration, finance, or entrepreneurship.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently develop and execute product strategy.
  • Experience resolving daily internal and external obstacles and challenges that affect a product/service's financial and market success.
  • Solid analytical skills, fluent in writing and MS Office.
  • Demonstrable blend of analytical and creative talent, tactical and strategic thinking, and innovative and pragmatic approaches.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Open personality, adept in driving alignment and understanding across multiple functions (Engineering, Quality, Finance, Sales, etc).
  • Ability to positively motivate and influence sales or cross functional teams.
  • Proven ability to drive success in an international market and international organization, working with different internal and external/customer cultures.
