Job Description

Our Product Associate coordinates and manages sales support through the education of the sales team on the current product portfolio. This role focuses primarily on building marketing resources and content for Physio Control's product portfolio, partnering closely with our sales team, and supporting various marketing projects as assigned. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing support to marketing managers in the development and sales support of one or more marketing segments.
  • Coordinating and developing marketing tools, assists with trade shows, literature development, presentations and publicity.
  • Providing sales support to account managers with regard to fact finding, information gathering, assistance in proposal development, customer site visits, customer sales calls.
  • Collecting, analyzing and maintaining an up-to-date library of competitive product information.
  • Providing input on new product development.
  • Providing sales training on assigned products, as required.
  • Participating in customer visits as requested.
  • Participating in the pursuit of new business opportunities and new markets, as necessary.
  • Coordinating orders with customer service. Providing unparalleled sales support by answering questions/resolving account manager/customer questions.
  • Providing sales force with competitive and technical data on a timely basis.
  • Accountable for all record keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications.
  • Other general and specified duties may be assigned, consistent with the company’s goals, objectives and interests.
  • Percent of Travel: Up to 70% annually. Some international travel is likely.

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field required.
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communications skills including ability to speak effectively in front of large groups of people.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong word processing and spreadsheet skills are essential, as are experience in project management.
