Job Description

Coordinates and manages sales support through the education of the sales team on the current product portfolio, problem solving, tool development and projects as assigned.


Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to marketing managers in the development and sales support of one or more marketing segments.
  • Performs sales and marketing analysis, assists with trade shows, literature development, presentations and publicity.
  • Provides sales support to account managers with regard to fact finding, information gathering, assistance in proposal development, customer site visits, customer sales calls.
  • Collect and communicate up to date status of pending sales, negotiations, and monitor key strategic accounts.
  • Collect, analyze and maintain an up-to-date library of competitive product information.
  • Provide input on new product development.
  • Provide sales training on assigned products, as required.
  • Strategize and participate in the pursuit of new business opportunities and new markets, as necessary.
  • Coordinate orders with customer service, product performance information with operations, and other cross-functional tasks as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional sales support by answering questions/resolving account manager/customer questions.
  • Provide sales force with competitive and technical data on a timely basis.
  • Accountable for all record keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications to promote on label selling.
  • Provide daily sales support for all online sales enablement programs.
  • Other general and specified duties may be assigned, consistent with the company’s goals, objectives and interests.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field.
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communications skills including ability to speak effectively in front of large groups of people
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong word processing and spreadsheet skills are essential, as are experience in task management.

Working Conditions:

  • May involve prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling as appropriate.
  • May be required to move materials up to 50 pounds, reach, push, or pull in order to accomplish job accountabilities.
  • Coordination of eye, hand, and/or foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination/memory, reading ability, and memory retention ability.
  • Requires use of safety glasses in designated areas.
  • Closed-toe/heel shoes must be worn on the production floor; safety shoes are recommended.
  • Some travel (Up to 30%)
