Role Qualifications:

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide analysis of customer information, Stryker sales information, and historical pricing levels to our internal customers which may include Regional Managers or Strategic Account Managers.  This also may include third party market information, strategic report analysis as requested and preparatory work for Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) Requests for Information, Requests for Proposal and contract submissions.
  • Serve as a key process and systems resource for Instruments field teams including the development of programs or applications to meet the needs of strategic business analysis as directed by the Manager, and Strategic Contracting teams.
  • Collaborate cross functionally for annual List pricing analysis. Functional teams include HCS, Strategic Contracting, Marketing and sales leaders.
  • Serve as a key process and system resource for Instruments including the development of templates, matrix formats, reporting structures and portfolio reporting metrics as necessary
  • Participate as a member of the Strategic Pricing Team involved in responding to customer requests for pricing master data, pricing master files and data cleansing as it relates to their pricing across all Business Units of Instruments.
  • Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers
  • Manage pricing integrity programs by acting as primary point of contact.
  • Provide historical trend analysis regarding customer pricing.
  • Process improvement projects that will drive efficiency amongst the team
  • Engage customer as needed relative to inquiries surrounding reporting, data requests, contract pricing, etc…
  • Provide recommendations and interpretations of the data or information provided in pricing analytics
  • Document and maintain process instructions that will assist in the training of new analysts
  • Earn the confidence of the business unit and provide any necessary reports needed to measure performance of a contract, negotiate a new contract, analyze pricing or rebates, etc…that can support informed business decisions

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline
  • 0 to 3 years accounting, finance or data analysis experience. Medical manufacturing/healthcare environment preferred

Other Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communications skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Exceptional skills in applicable software programs (Excel, basic ERP query)
  • Exceptional skills with data management, pivot tables, and advanced functions in Excel
  • ERP systems experience (AS400, SAP)
  • Preferred but not required experience in Model N, Power Pivot, Power BI, Power Query, Sql
