Job Description

  • Perform all manufacturing operations in the Pharma Production Area controlled environment
    • Machine Operation
    • Maintain Quality:  
  • Maintain compliance specified quality and production reporting standards for documentation. (Including Quality Checks, PHR, SOP’s, Production  reporting, Yield documentation, and other tasks as instructed by the Lead)
    • Equipment Setup
    • Basic Equipment Adjustments
    • Material Handling and Loading
    • Equipment Cleaning and Sanitization
    • Proficient at Documentation:
  • Comply with regulatory and legal requirements of our industry and maintain proper thorough organized production documentation (essential)
  • Work using sanitary practices to prohibit contamination
  • Maintain all cGMP compliance initiatives for Manufacturing as required by Sage Regulatory Affairs/Compliance Officer.
  • Responsible for insuring Drug Compliance
  • Train employees on the operational procedures for the Pharma Production equipment
  • Set-up production stations, close and open lots in flex
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Visually and physically check product as appropriate for damage and defects at interval as directed on the PHR
  • Verify all components against WIS/BOM
  • Visually and physically assure raw material have been released for production before using
  • Visually inspect component products before using
  • Verify Pharma components being used in production with QA
  • Participate in basic manufacturing house cleaning in order to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Perform in-process quality inspections to insure product is being manufactured correctly and accurately per the controlled documentation.
  • Perform equipment quality challenge inspections as required to insure that equipment is working properly.

Documentation and Forms Completion:

  • PHR Documentations in flex or manually when required
  • Flex entries in the computer
  • Cleaning checklists when required
  •  Documentation of yield solution reconciliation forms
  • Approval of the use of unreleased material forms when required
  • Training sign-off forms
  • Material Disposition forms (MDF) when required
  • Comfort bath use, cleaning, and maintenance log book entries
  • Reject sheets
  • Equipment challenge inspection checklist

Physical and Visual

Physical and Visual Activities:  Standing, walking, sitting, lifting , carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, acute vision (far), acute vision (near), depth perception, field of vision, accommodation, color vision.

Physical demands:

Lifting and carrying parts and assemblies up to 50 lbs. Manipulate parts and assemblies up to 110 lbs.

Environmental and Atmospheric Conditions: Inside conditions, wet, noise, hazards, odors, dust, hand sanitizers, CHG solution, shield solution, alcohol, and bleach. (Must be able to work inside clean rooms/enclosures: (must be flexible to this environment)

  • Posses excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Work from verbal and written instruction
  • Be able to perform material handling functions
