What you will do

As a Packaging R&D Engineer at Stryker Neurovascular, you will be required to have strong attention to detail, high level of service and responsibility in managing a high and varied workload from internal and external clients and be comfortable working to tight timelines. Skills at prioritization, multi-tasking, and excellent written and verbal communication is needed to excel. When faced with issues, you will use your knowledge and quick thinking to solve problems while building quality into all aspects and ensuring compliance to all requirements. You may also be called upon to perform IFU/eIFU (Instructions For Use) development and demonstrate knowledge through delivery of high quality documentation (SOPs, technical literature and work instructions).

In this role, you will take great pride in contributing and coordinating with stakeholders in the areas of packaging design verification testing, label design, technical writing, development of artwork/images and development/improvement of processes for improved efficiency and quality compliance. Additionally, you will find purpose helping expand life-changing solutions that enable people to live more active, fulfilling lives.

Job Requirements

What you need
o B.S. degree in Packaging or Industrial Engineering preferred, (other applicable Engineering or technical field degrees considered.
o 1+ years of experience required, (Internships or College Projects considered)
o Prior experience in medical device or heavily regulated industry preferred.
o Experience with test data manipulation, analysis, interpretation and communication of results data tools, excel, Minitab.
o Desired experience in solid modelling/Solidworks and using a database driven labeling system.
