Job Description

Individual Responsibilities:

• Proactively collaborates with internal teams/departments to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation

Functional Responsibilities:

• Perform root cause analysis, corrective action, and troubleshooting duties
• Provide leadership and expertise to Outbound Distribution function’s daily activities through organizing resources, providing priority management, actively supporting daily tasks, and ensuring task completion.
• Facilitate the efficient operation for Outbound Distribution function by ensuring that all processes maintain a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the work and storage areas.
• Ensure all team members act in compliance with Stryker safety and quality standards.
• Participate in the development, coordination and delivery of training sessions for all Outbound team members including new employee orientation and temporary staff.
• Work with the Team Lead, Inbound to create a daily schedule for adequate coverage and for scheduled vacations, lunch hours and absences.
• Assist in leading and actively participating in department meetings to review productivity, address issues and prioritize tasks for Outbound picking and shipping as well as cycle counting.
• Participate in the development and administration of continuous improvement and 6S program pertaining to Outbound picking and shipping
• Work with the Supervisor, Distribution to collect data and prepare KPI reports for the department’s daily, weekly and monthly activity.
• Assist the Distribution Inventory Specialist in the development of annual count plan and execution of all required counts.
• Establish and maintain consistent flow of outbound processing. 
• Ensure daily communication of the status of each function to the Supervisor, Distribution.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

• Proactive mindset and collaborative approach to problem solving
• Strong Analytical skills and experience with Oracle an asset
• Accuracy is essential for data entry skills
• Knowledge of proper lifting/body mechanic techniques and adherence to health and safety regulations
• Superior time management skills, ability to manage multiple functions and adhere to daily deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast paced and active environment
• Ability to lead a workforce
• Flexibility to work a variety of day shifts in a 40hour work week

Education & Qualifications
• Completed post-secondary education program preferred (Distribution, Supply Chain, or Logistics Program Preferred)
• Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
