Job Description

Position Summary:  

​​​Serves as a link between Distribution and internal and external customers to ensure that customer orders are shipped out on time.  Works closely with shipping team, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations.​​ 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Detailed Description) 

  • ​​Supports first or second shift in communication with internal customers, 3PL and drop shipments to the United States from Germany, as necessary. 

  • ​Ordering and maintaining shipping supplies. 

  • ​Running end of night reports to ensure that all allocated orders have shipped. 

  • ​Daily coordination with commercial business to ensure order allocation and processing. 

  • ​Communication with distribution leadership team concerning any order, product availability, or shipment concerns. 

  • ​Facilitation of daily and end-of-month shipment goal communication to leadership team. 

  • ​Communicate directly with Stryker 3PL partners to ensure all allocated product ships 

  • ​Partner with Stryker 3PLs on any shipment issues  

  • ​Works cross functionally with the customer service, sales, finance, quality, human resources, IT, USCDC and operations team to achieve Stryker mission, vision and objectives. 

  • ​Ensures proper inventory accuracy sync within Stryker ERP and 3PL ERP. ​ 

Education & Special Trainings: 

  • ​​2-3 years related experience. 

  • ​High school diploma or equivalent.​ 

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • ​​Demonstrated attention to detail and versatility. 

  • ​High work standards and dependability. 

  • ​High level of initiative. 

  • ​Ability to work well with others and maintain a service orientation commitment. 

  • ​Forklift license required. 

  • ​Excellent PC skills; AS400 experience preferred.​ 

Physical & Mental Requirements:  

  • Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of work occasionally and/or up to 20 pound of force constantly to move objects. 

  • The ability to work with and/or sort small component parts. 

  • Must have good visual acuity and demonstrate fine motor skills/ability. 

  • Must be able to communicate well with others in person and telephonically. 

  • Must be able to follow detailed verbal and/or written instructions. 

  • Must be able to complete detailed documentation accurately. 

  • Must be able to observe and correct/note minute inconsistencies.
