Job Description

Main goals/ Function purpose

Responsible for execution and performance management, orders receipt from the commercial area, order placement in factories, control of international freight, import, receipt, storage, transportation and delivery, as well as attendance to possible customer complaints. Always with the quality level desired and focused on the final customer, following the KPIs, objectives and goals of organizational growth

Critical Success Factors / Main Products:

1. Management of Third Party Suppliers of Logistics Services
Freight forwarder & Transportation company’s KPIs management, reducing costs and transit lead-time, choosing the best routes between the factories and destination point
Coordinate the services provided by the warehouse (3PL) and transportation company to ensure that they are performing their duties in the correct manner and in accordance with the contracts and regulations for medical equipment in force and in accordance with the established goals (SLAs and KPIs).
Customs Broker management to comply with customs regulations and adequate classification and taxation, reducing risks and costs in addition to lead-time according to KPIs.

2. Order Management
Orders receipt management from the commercial area and placing them at the factories
From import process until customs release and delivery in the warehouse
Warehouse materials receipt and allocation reducing bottlenecks and improving customer satisfaction.

3. Inventory Management
3PL warehouse inventory controls to ensure accuracy, proper care during storage and proper preparation of all elements, in accordance with Brazil's regulations for medical equipment.

4. Timely shipments
Manages and optimizes order deliveries by ensuring that logistics service providers perform well and customer expectations are met or exceeded.

5. Reception of Products
Responsible for accurate registration of the entry of all products into the system when Stryker receives the products in the Deposit, within the agreed time frames with the service provider.

6. Customer Service (after sale), for MedSurg, NV and Orthopedics businesses
Responsible for the Customer Service team, in the post-sale, taking care of the direct customers and distributors within the terms and quality agreed or contracted.

7. Interaction with internal areas
Interaction with the teams of Finance, RAQA, Marketing, Sales and other members of Operations and Technical assistance to distribute and collect information, and define joint processes, including investigation of non-conformities.

8. Compliance
You must conduct all business and affairs in compliance with laws and regulations, including the FCPA, the Stryker Code of Conduct, and in accordance with the highest ethical standards.
Cargo Agent Management and its KPIs, reducing costs and lead-time of transit, choosing the best routes between the factories and destination point

Job Requirements

Academic qualifications / schooling and professional experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering / Logistics;
• +8 years experience in leadership positions of people in the Operations / Supply Chain area.
• APICS certification desirable.
Experience in multinational companies – pref. health care

Knowledge / Skills / Attributes
• Fluency in Portuguese and English;
Desirable intermediate level of Spanish;
• Excel Proficiency (great differential if in advanced level);
• Knowledge of ERPs (SAP preferably);
• Knowledge of the Medical Equipment sector;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Focused on Results / Processes;
• Ability to lead, coordinate and develop teams.
