General Description


Assist Regional Service Manager and Service Quality Coordinator with daily operations of the region with a specific focus on training, education as well as account coverage.

Essential Functions

• Ensures effective surgical care to patients as related to Stryker Endoscopy equipment.

• Assists the Service Quality Coordinator with day to day operations focusing on account visits and training/education 

• Interacts with surgeons, patients, OR personnel, Central Processing, Sales Reps, O.R. Managements, and Hospital Administration, as well as Stryker employees and partners. 

• Develops monthly reports on current and upcoming new hire trainings as well as vacation coverage 

• Assists in penetration of Stryker products in service accounts (rep and account specific) 

• Provides clinical surgical support by operating all Stryker equipment. 

• Is responsible for trouble-shooting and maintaining Stryker Endoscopy equipment. 

• Provides vacation coverage within region. 

• Provides education and training to ProCare Surgical Specialists within region. 

• Provides Regional Service Manager information from team leaders / specialists with essential material for reviews, corrective actions and other administrative duties regarding specialists. 

• Adheres to all policies and procedures put forth in the sales code of conduct. 

• Employee has the necessary authority to execute above mentioned job responsibilities, and will have the authority to carry out specific responsibilities defined by quality system documents. Employee has the authority to recommend and initiate preventative and corrective action with regard to product non-conformances and quality system activities. 

• Assist the Service Quality Coordinator and/or Regional Service Manager with the day to day management of no more than 15 Specialists as well as assist with the annual review of said Specialists. 
 


Requirements


Qualifications

• College Degree Preferred 

• Operating Room experience and demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, surgical procedures and techniques. 

• Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. 

• Must be able to review printed materials. 

• Must be able to communicate with large groups of people. 

• Must be able to communicate telephonically. 

• Must be able to use common office equipment (e.g. calculator, PC, fax machine, etc.). 

• Must have near visual acuity (corrected) color vision, mobility, bending, standing, stooping, and finger dexterity. 

• Must be able to generate and explain detailed forecasts, guidelines and procedures. 

• Must be able to analyze and resolve non-routine product issues using independent judgment. 

• Must be able to observe and correct minute inconsistencies (e.g. in the printed word, product appearance, etc.). 

• Excellent analytical skills.
