What you will do:

  • You will implement and execute the launch strategies developed by the Sales and Marketing organization by providing product introductions and in-services for customers
  • You will complete a thorough analysis of the territory and identifies key target accounts.  Responsible for generating and following-up on sales leads.
  • You will monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing (for both existing and new products), delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • On a daily basis, you will build relationships with multiple customers within an account, and keep them informed of new products, supply/inventory, and pricing trends.
  • You will be responsible to resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • You will support market development efforts to increase the number of patients available to receive our treatment.
  • You will support Marketing in the development of education programs for physicians and other health professionals involved in the use of Company products in order to accelerate the adoption rates of the new techniques and products which Stryker offers.
  • You will participate in professional society meetings/trade shows, which promote Stryker’s products.
  • You will support activities related to driving enrollment in our Clinical Trials.
  • You will maintain and increase professional and technical knowledge by on-the-job training, attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • You are responsible for the storage, handling and traceability of rep stock inventory.
  • You will ensure appropriate communication processes are established within and across functional groups.  Communicates information related to quality management system effectiveness.
  • You will work in accordance with quality system procedures.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of experience medical device sales (Experience in OR /neuro preferred)
  • Strong inter-personal communication skills
  • Knowledge of marketing, market research, new product development, new product introduction, P/L management, and field testing.
