National Sales Manager Trauma & Extremities  – Finland

The Job's Mission 
The National Sales Manager is responsible for the management of his/her sales area, which includes Finland, the leadership of his/her employees as well as sales/turnover and cost so that optimized customer service and acquisition of new customers is guaranteed

Key Activities & Accountabilities
•    Provide solutions for customers and add value to the sales process through negotiations, resulting in winning business/orders and positive customer experience
•    Identify competitive issues/opportunities and provide credible market and customer feedback to GM Nordic, Nordic Marketing and TOM franchises,
•    Recruit/develop/engage sales reps, resulting in development of future sales leaders
•    Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, monthly & weekly revenue streams across the region and team of sales reps
•    Accountable for the cost budget communicated for the team/country.
•    Partner with cross divisional/franchise SMs and Key Account Managers in order to win market share
•    Partner with all internal functions to ensure over achievement of financial and operational targets
•    Plan, prepare and follow up sales forecasts and budgets, AP activities and the departments operating costs
•    Control the sales process including a professional tender process
•    Be aware of Stryker’s policies, standards and activities relating to our compliance program
•    Ensure compliance policies and initiatives are communicated to the business
•    Continuously gather intelligence on the products performance, the customer, the competitor and the health care system
•    Coordinate, develop and support of the sales organization
Customer service / acquisition of new customers
Planning, executing and monitoring of all measures necessary to guarantee achieving budget.
This encompasses in particular:
•    The selection, leadership, development, engagement, and supervision of the assigned sales team
•    Control all resources and materials in the sales area
•    Optimize resources and responsibility for the running of a profitable business in the area
•    Customer care for (managerial) physicians, surgical/theatre staff and hospital administration with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultation
•    Conducting price negotiations and contractual preparation within the limits of in-house guidelines, up to contract conclusion
•    Drive the long term planning and execution to secure business and take market shares in tenders.
•    Building professional relations with KOL:s, Hospital leadership and Procurement departments

•    Preferably training in a medical, scientific, technical career or degree in sciences, economics or the like
•    Academic degree / education in sales and/or marketing
•    Management  and Presentation education
•    Native language and English
•    Adequate IT-knowledge 

•    Successful sales and/or marketing experience essential
•    Verifiable success in sales
•    Experience in team leadership
•    Economic knowledge
•    Commercial skills in leading a profit centre
•    Product knowledge
•    Anatomical proficiency
•    Knowledge of a CRM system
•    Knowledge of an ERP system
•    Computer skills, MS Office
