As National Government Business Manager, you will lead Stryker’s engagement with the Public Health system across Australia and New Zealand, and manage the Contract and Tenders team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Represent Stryker to the public health purchasing agencies; building and maintaining influential relationships with key commercial decisions makers within ANZ public health systems
  • Influencing and empowering Stryker business units to develop programs that respond to the needs of the public health customers in their sector, developing strategies that protect and grow revenue in the public sector 
  • Lead the negotiations/direction of new and existing tenders and other new business agreements with government hospital customers
  • Lead Stryker’s Contract and Tenders team and program (contract lifecycle optimisation)
  • Provide guidance and advice on rules of engagement to Stryker sales teams around public health policy, contract compliance and procurement frameworks

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold 3 - 5 years’ experience in a National/Corporate/State account management position, with a track record of key relationship building and quota achievement
  • Be a gifted people leader with a proven record of developing talent
  • Be an expert in public tender and contract management processes
  • Have a strong track record of converting strategy into implemented programs
  • Have experience in successfully influencing cross-functional teams to deliver results
